offers students the continued  structure of self-contained, small classes as they prepare for one of our challenging upper school programs. Middle school classes comprise twelve students, one master teacher and at least one teaching assistant. 

Class assignments are made on the basis of not only age and grade level, but academic, social, and behavioral functioning, in order to create cohesive groups that are stimulating and challenging. Students receive a full complement of electives ranging from industrial arts to floral design in addition to mandated related services such as counseling, speech and language and occupational therapy.
